INFOTECH - June 2007

In this month's magazine, we first talk to an Infotech listener, Pranav Lal. Pranav lives in India, and we discuss with him technology and blindness related issues within the country, together with an audio-based project with which he is involved.

System Access To Go is not a product you would purchase from a local take-away food store, but it is another method by which the System Access screen-reader can be accessed, this time amazingly using the Internet rather than any physical media. Steve Nutt of Computer Room Services tells us more and we demonstrate the product at work.

Finally, as is customary within the June edition of Infotech each year, Terry and I preview some of the new innovations we expect to see at this year's Sight Village exhibition, which takes place in Birmingham UK in just a week from now. In addition, we introduce you to the Sight Village blog and podcast with which you can get involved right now.
