OpenBook

OpenBook allows you to convert printed documents or graphic based text into an electronic text format using accurate optical character recognition and quality speech. Once converted, individuals with useful vision can benefit from OpenBook's many powerful low vision tools, allowing them to customize how the document appears on the screen, while "speech only" users can listen to the scanned text with either synthetic or human sounding voices, whichever is preferred.

  • Grade Two Braille files can be immediately created to be either sent to a Braille Printer or read via an Electronic Braille Display

  • Documents can be scanned directly into applications such as Microsoft Word.

  • Compatible with a broad range of standard Scanners
