Infotech - June 2009

This month's magazine contains two items.

First, we talk about all things Twitter - the social networking site which has taken the virtual community by storm.  What is it?  How do you create a Twitter account?  What is the best way of managing your Tweets/Updates?  All these questions and more will be answered in our "Getting Started with Twitter" tutorial which takes you through setting up and managing Twitter with a number of screen-readers.  We also talks about the many Twitter clients which are very popular with visually impaired people.

Next, as usual at this time of year, Terry and Brian preview the upcoming Sight Village exhibition taking place in Birmingham in July.  We think this is the best preview we have produced. We tell you about new companies who will be at the event and the seminars too.  In addition, we sneak in some technology news and a tour of our new web site.  Finally, we tell you about new things we will be showing at the event and about the launch of our popular podcast.
