Infotech - September and October 2008
Welcome to the slightly delayed September/October issue of Infotech. This magazine contains over four and a half hours of content and from a topic perspective is very varied. First of all we catch up with Michael May from the Sendero group. Since we last spoke with Mike in 2007 a lot has changed, including most recently a new version of the BrailleNote based product. We talk about the new upgrade as well as the other innovations which have happened within the company since 2007. Next we move to a series of articles relating to accessing Apple’s I-Tunes and associated access to IPods. In September Apple released a new version of ITunes, which contained a level of out of the box accessibility. So, does this new release of I-Tunes mean the death of J-Tunes? Also in September Apple released a Talking IPod. In the next article Brian demonstrates the functionality of the 4th generation IPod Nano. Then finally in the triplet of articles relating to I-Tunes and IPods we look at the I-Tel, an alternative method of making the IPod talk from Cobolt Systems. Finally on a completely different topic we present an article about a new product from T&T called J-Tools.
