A huge number of people in the UK suffer from loss of hearing. For many this loss is moderate, however still makes things like talking to people in noisy situations, fully appreciating music and listening to the television problematic. For others, like myself, the situation is more complex as the hearing loss is mixed with visual impairment and the effective supply and set up of hearing aids is crucial in order that we can function on a day to day basis. I'm delighted that from the start of next year we are opening an audiology department within the company. Even better than that, the audiologist who is joining us is the person who for the past 20 years or so has looked after my hearing needs. Neil Walker is an empathetic person with a vast amount of experience in understanding assessing and addressing peoples hearing needs. From the measuring of peoples hearing loss to the effective correction of the loss through the use of the most advanced hearing aid technology we are convinced that we can make a difference to people suffering from hearing loss
