Scanning Systems Product Lists

Scanning Systems are products which enable printed material to be scanned, and then reproduced on a computer screen enabling the information to be accessed by people who would have difficulty reading the actual print.

As well as a variety of mainstream products, such as Omni Page and Text Bridge, T&T Consultancy Limited also supply two specialist optical character recognition products designed specifically for use by Visually Impaired people. These specialist optical character recognition products can either be used in conjunction with Screen Readers  or on a computer by themselves utilizing the product's own in built synthetic speech.

Kurzweil 1000

Kurzweil 1000 is a reading system designed to specifically address the reading needs of people who cannot physically see paper based print.

The product contains state of the art text recognition combined with human sounding synthetic speech so that scanned information can be easily and comfortably listened back to.
